Technical checks

It would be good to have a partner to help out here. Not so much for the engine checks, where you make sure the most important levels are as they should be and to top up as necessary. But for the light checks: One of you switches on all the lights from the cockpit, while the other walks around the vehicle to check all lights are working. You should check the oil level when the vehicle is parked on an even surface. The engine should be cold or have been switched off for a long period of time. When refilling, please take note of the oil recommendations by the base vehicle manufacturer. Finish by checking the coolant level in the reservoir and fill the screen wash with a cleaning agent for the windscreen washer system.
